My feet on fire!

This is a memoir that I remember very well since I was five years old.

My favorite doll was called “Lolita” . It was my favorite because she was only one that could sing and cry by pressing its stomach (pushing the bottom, there). I had said at my parents that I really wanted to have a photo with my doll, but not a photo taken with cell phones. I said that, because I was thinking that the photograph with a camera could be better and could take a big one. Understand me I was only a child.

My house is in front of the street as the same as my aunt´s house, but one house makes the separation between them. I really liked to play with the children of my aunts, my cousins. I spent hours playing with them; sometimes they go to my house and others I went to their house. I usually went to my aunt´s house because in my house was not a child to play with, my youngest sister is five years older than me. So at that time, she was already ten and didn´t like to play with me. So, I was playing with my cousins not in my house, but in the house of my aunt. I was playing with my cousins and we were without our sandals, all the sandals were far away of us. Meanwhile, we were playing in the dust yard of my aunt I saw the photographer passing in the street. So, when seeing the man with his camera in her body like a collar. I hurried up to go to my house and I didn´t care about my sandals, because I was running like the wind.

When I arrived at house, with the little air that was in my lungs I said my parents that a photographer was passing and that I wanted a photo with my doll. My parents were annoyed. I had arrived at home actually later than the time my parents allowed me. Also, I was barefoot, because I left my sandals in my aunt´house. However, they said that could allow me to take the photos, but with a single condition. Indeed, I accepted. The condition was to take me the photos without the shoes I had in my home, because I had left my sandals in my aunt´s house. So, in order to remember to be wearing my sandals all the time they gave me that condition. After that, they go to the street to talk with the photographer, which name was Eduardo, he was walking to his home after taking some pictures to a couple who get civil marriage. He said that could take the photos without any problem.

Then, the session of photos started. (Well, I had shared in a blog many days before) and effectively my house was surrounded by trees and were projecting a lot of long shadows that didn´t help to take a good photo. So that, the photographer decided to take the picture at the lighted side of the house and the resulting was a sunlit photo. The photographer said that in the patio in front of my house was a perfect place for the sunlight that could help him to take a beautiful photo (I think he was not a good photographer). The thing was that it was around 2:30 pm where the sun had lighted the patio during all the morning and I was on the hottest time all the day 2:00 pm). BUSCAR EVIDENCIA I guess my parents and the photographer didn´t care about the really really hot pavement where I had to pose for the photos, I didn´t put my feet  completely on the pavement, because it burned my feet. Remembering that day I still feel the hot pavement burning my feet. It was really hurting to feel that hot pavement like flames under my feet. Even though, I was practically burning my feet in the hot pavement, I was really happy to take me the pictures with my favorite doll and I started to smile.
